mega-rare German press in picture sleeve of this Monster Northern Soul / Mod classic from 1966:
You can´ t mean it / One in a million by John St. John (Aka: John Ritson; aka: lead singer of the Chapter Five).
One of the best and most desiderable Northern soul 45´s ever, TOP DOUBLE-SIDER, GET THEIR BEST TUNES IN ONE 7"!!!. Mega rare and in great condition!!

The Name John St.John was an idea of the band's manager Mervyn Conn, had asked John Ritson
(the original singer of the Chapter Five) to leave the band and go solo and call himself John St. John.
This suggestion didn't go down too well and the band stayed together for a while longer and then split.
Both songs were recorded at the same session in 1966 (with -anything that you do-) & -one in a million - was used as B side in germany in 1966
"One in a million" was the uk 2nd chapter five 45 released in 1967
(only appears to exist in demo form and the band claim that they are not playing on the b-side -Hey Hey-)
