Description
Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "Charles Brown Sings Christmas Songs" - by Charles Brown on the KING Record label (775) in beautiful original "black label" mono sound.
CONDITION: JACKET - EX(Jacket is shrink wrapped and beautiful, with only very light corner wear - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - Near Mint(Vinyl is clean and shiny - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Very rare KING issue of the legendary "Charles Brown Sings Christmas Songs" sides, in a beautiful original black-label mono sound pressing. This record has other King classic album covers printed on the back of the sleeve in full color. One of Charles Brown's finest albums. Great - and bizarre - cover photo.
TRACKS: Please Come Home for Christmas, Christmas With No One to Love, Christmas In Heaven, Christmas Questions, Christmas Comes But Once a Year, It's Christmas All Year Round, Let's Make Every Day a Christmas Day, Bringing In a Brand New Year, Christmas Blues, It's Christmas Time, Wrap Yourself In a Christmas Package, and My Most Miserable Christmas.
Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck.
OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
