Description
For auction is CHARLES LLOYD's "Discovery!" on Columbia CL 2267, MONO, 1964. Promo Edition.
SOUND: VG+ or better.
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound was beautiful! Clean and bright with no issues other than exactly 2 soft pops in A4, "Bizarre."
VINYL: VG+ or better.
Visually, the vinyl has a few light marks, but nothing too bad. Overall, it looks very nice. The record has white Promo labels.
COVER: VG+ or better.
The cover is very nice. The edges are straight and solid, 3 corners sharp, with the lower left a little bumped. Front and back are unmarked, with minor aging. There is a Promo Playlist affixed to the front cover.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
This is a beautiful, clean record that sounds lovely. No reserve, bidding starts at $10.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
