CHARLES MANSON – 12 Canciones Compuestas Y Cantadas Por Charles Manson. Movieplay M-24025. Spanish release. FACTORY SEALED NEW LP VINYL RECORD ALBUM. Originally issued in Spain in 1971. This is the same as the ESP 1970 Lie release with different artwork and a gatefold cover, same tracks. This 2017 reissue edition limited to 300 copies. DESCRIPTION:  Repro of the ultra-rare Spanish version of Charles Manson's earliest recordings (it was first released with the title Lie, The Love And Terror Cult on ESP Records). Registered in 1967 and originally published in 1970 (1971 in Spain), it was released in order to help and fund his defense, only to meet total rejection from the underground scene of the era. At the time only 300 copies were sold from the initial pressing of 2000. This record is the epitome of all damned, cult, unsettling LPs, accompanied by various members of the infamous family, Manson's music ranges from folk to psychedelia to plain creepy weirdness 12 Canciones Compuestas Y Cantadas Por Charles Manson stands on its own as an spine-chilling ride through the mind of one of histories most vilified criminals; the undertaker of the hippie era. Songs from this album have been covered by the likes of G.G. Allin, The Lemonheads, Guns n Roses and the Beach Boys, to name a few. Presented here in a luxurious gatefold is a careful reproduction of the original Spanish release, published only one year after the original US pressing, during the Franco dictatorship, making it an even weirder release. Only 300 copies in gatefold cover. Suprisingly the music comes off as 60s melodic hippie-ish pop rock with a contemporary folk influence; if you play this for an unknowing listener chances are they would never guess Manson as the artist (his voice isn’t half bad), but watch the reaction when you tell them who they are listening to… and then the unsettling weirdness begins.

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers.

RETURN POLICY:

Please e-mail me with specific details and I will get back to you with your options. I ask that if there is a problem with the item that you contact me as soon as possible after receiving it. Any item that must be returned is done so at the buyer’s expense; damage and defective returns will be re-embursed upon receipt of the return item. NON-ARRIVAL OF PACKAGES:

All packages are shipped with confirmation/tracking, you will received an automatically generated shipping notice from Ebay with your tracking number. It is rare that I’ve had a package not make its US destination, so risk is minimal. The most often cuase of delayed receipt of a package in the US is due to the tracking number of the package not being scanned in at its point of origin (it gets tossed in with regular first class mail), or, less often, at some point along its transit route.

INTERNATIONAL Customers:  Please wait at least 3 weeks from my confirmed shipping date before contacting me about the non-arrival of your package. If security is your concern please have your package registered. I do my best to quickly post packages, but once the package is in the hands of the world’s postal system it is beyond my control. With First-Class Package International Service my only option for investigating the loss of your package is to verify that it left this country to its destination country. Once in the destination country any inquiry on a package must be made by the receiving customer. Most all delayed/lost packages have disappeared/been delayed after they have reached their destination country.
