Description

Very rare mid-60s Atlantic Records repress of this Charles Mingus classic, with mid-60s green and blue "boxed black fan" Atlantic labels. Same vinyl runout information as the 1960 original press, same gorgeously warm analog 60s mastering on heavyweight high-quality vinyl.
Still partially in original factory seal, the beautiful laminated cover is in excellent condition, very little shelf wear or signs of ageing. VPI cleaned, some light marks that do not affect the sound, the record is in overall amazing condition for its age. There is one very small scratch that causes 10-20 seconds of light ticks near the start of track 2 (hence the VG+ rating), otherwise the rest plays excellent, very clean. Includes original Atlantic inner sleeve as well.
