Description
Please read my description carefully before bidding. I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.
This one is the first stereo pressing of Bethlehem Records SBCP-6019 "East Coasting" by CHARLES MINGUS. One of the best record from Bethlehem during this era. This one is an original issue from Bethlehem Records, not a reissue version by OJC or Classic Records. High quality original pressing in 1957. Blue Labels. With Deep Groove on both labels. Very rare in NM/NM- condition.
Artists Include: Charles Mingus (bass), Clarence Shaw (trumpet), Jimmy Knepper (trombone), Shafi Hadi (alto saxophone, tenor saxophone), Bill Evans (piano), Dannie Richmond (drums).
The vinyl played NM on Side 1 and NM- on Side 2 due to a few tics and light pops. Music is nice. The vinyl looks bright and shinny under the bright light.
The cover is VG+. Strong but has some residue tapes on seam and spine (see photos).
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.
You will be satisfied. And I will accept a free return. Please bid with confidence.
