Description
For auction is CHARLES MINGUS' "Mingus Dynasty," on Columbia CL 1440, MONO, DG, 6-Eye Promo, 1960. With Booker Ervin, John Handy, Benny Golson others.
SOUND: NM/MINT
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. This one's easy! Beautiful. Practically perfect! Only the teeniest trace of routine background noise here or there keeps it from Mint.
VINYL: NM
The vinyl has a couple of smudges and one faint hairline mark side A, not feel-able. I see nothing significant, flaw-wise. Overall, very clean and beautiful condition.
The record is on deep-grooved, red-6-eye Columbia "Promo" labels. Labels are beautiful!
JACKET: NM/MINT
The jacket is outstanding. Edges and spine beautiful, only the scarcest trace of wear on the corners. Front and back beautiful and clean, with "demo" stamp on back.

This record is in stunning condition. An upgrade is practically impossible! Put this in your collection! No reserve, bidding starts at $25.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
