CHARLES MINGUS "THE BLACK SAINT AND THE SINNER LADY" stereo lp on Impulse A-35 US issue 1963 NM/VG+. (New dealer. Please check my About Me page.) I would grade this LP NM, as it looks and plays pretty much as the day it was unsealed, with minimal play and minimal, if any, cosmetic marks. (Please keep in mind that some labels -- Crown, United, even a lot of Atlantic -- were recorded with less than state-of-the-art technology, my point being that some labels sound better than others.) Cream of the crop. I don't rate many lps NM and rating and ABC product NM is about as thin of ice as you wish to be on. ABC products just aren't the highest fidelity so what I am representing here is that this lp (which visually obviously has had very little play) sounds pretty much as it did during it's first play. So that stated this is a great copy of this. It is the orange with black circle band w/Impulse in the band 4 times face. It's a great session. The players:MINGUS; QUENTIN JACKSON; DON BUTTERFIELD; JEROME RICHARDSON; DICK HAFER; CHARLES MARIANO; JACKIE BYARD; JAY BERLINER; DANNIE RICHMOND. The Jacket: (I don’t rate any jackets with my initials NM) In black magic marker, my initials back upper ctr., an x back lower ctr.. I would rate the cover VG+ overall with back ring wear and some of the glossy paper starting to peel on the back as well. A little minor discoloration front. But this is still a very solid sturdy gatefold and this is a great vintage collectible package. . ! US buyers (lower 48 states), for single lp, pay Media rate $4.00 what Ebay wants us to use exclusively now. Don’t know if I agree with p&h, or Priority rate $8.75 p&h which includes sturdy packing materials. To Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico the p&h is strictly $9.00 Priority rate with all handling charges included. Paypal seems to be that but I guess that is the way I will go. Insurance is optional and recommended for USA buyers. No insurance is offered to International buyers. Postage to international airmail customers out of US will range from $13.50 to $16.50 with additional lps adding $3 to $4 each, up to FOUR lps. These prices are determined by weight and destination. Combined shipping to all destinations will result in a lower rate per item. I sell with a "Customer Satisfaction" guarantee; (does not apply to foreign shipments lost by over-seas postal services: I take no financial responsibility for over-seas shipping); for the vinyl only, not shipping costs. Payments should be made within SEVEN days of purchase or item will be relisted. For USA buyers that use Media mail I would really recommend insurance as you can’t track media mail and I won’t take financial responsibility for lps lost in the media mail.
