This one is a first mono pressing of Charles Mingus's THE CLOWN. Issued, in the USA, by Atlantic Records in 1957. Catalog number ATLANTIC-1260. Original black Labels with white letters. Deep groove on both sides. This one is an original pressing version not a re-issued version.
Comes with an original Atlantic inner sleeve.
Charles Mingus (bass), Shafi Hadi (alto and tenor saxophone), Wade Legge (piano), Jimmy Knepper (trombone), Dennie Richmond (drums), Jean Shepherd (narration on track 4).
The vinyl played VG+ on both sides due to light background noises during some passages.
The cover is NM.
