Charles Munch leads the Boston Symphony in tremendously exciting performances of these works by the American composer, Samuel Barber. The sonics on this half-track tape are simply staggering!! A real lease-breaker! Hard to believe this recording is nearly 50 years old! Box and tape are in fine condition for their age: Box is clean and solid with a bit of adhesive residue and minor splits along the top seams of the box front and back; the reel looks perfect. The tape, which is stored TAILS OUT on the reel, plays beautifully on my Revox B-77 deck. Overall a first class copy of this rarity. Packing, USPS FIRST CLASS shipping and insurance are a flat $5 to domestic U.S. destinations. Priority mailing on request. International destinations will cost more.
