Up for auction is The Charlie Mingus Jazz Workshop's "Pithecanthropus Erectus" LP on Atlantic, catalog # 1237. This is the original deep groove MONO pressing on the black with silver print label. 

LP is Mint Condition.  Sole collector was meticulous when handling and caring for LPs.

The cover is in very good condition overall.  No splitting, no rings.  Back cover- small amount of wear around the edges, one fingerprint size light stain, collector's name written in black at top. Front cover- collector's initials written in black (inside body image), otherwise looks new with a shiny gloss.
