This Charlie Mingus LP is a rare gem for any jazz collector. Released in 1956 on Atlantic Records, this first edition and first pressing of "Pithecanthropus Erectus" features the iconic bassist's hard-bop style with exciting drums and captivating melodies. The 12" vinyl record has a deep groove and is in near-mint condition, while the cardboard sleeve is in good shape. The LP is a must-have for fans of jazz instrumentals and post-bebop music from the 1950s. With its original pressing and impressive features, this record is a true treasure for any music lover.
