 CHARLIE PARKER 10" (SELF-TITLED) (Clef Records MG C-157). Released 1954.


  Ten-inch record. Original US mono pressing on the black Clef label with "trumpeter" logo. Deep Groove on label. Superb-sounding original mono. Cover has one inch of tape across top seam as well as a bottom seam split. Constructed of quality materials such as the thick durable platter. Charlie Parker alto sax; Al Hiag piano; Max Roach drums; Percy Heath bass. (Matrix #: "MGC-157A/B").






  COVER - VG-

    Seven inches of seam split & tape residue along bottom edge. One inch wide tape across entire top edge. No creases, bubbles, writing, price tags, stickers or color fading. Hardly any Ring Wear but a little speckling. Slight corner banging. Thick jacket which is flat, unbowed & free of bubbles or waves. Nice glossy black label is excellent with no cuts, stains, scuffs, stains or writing. Sharp-cut hole free of spindle brushings. 

  DISC - VG

  We give great importance to grading our items accurately. The few scuffs & semi-scratches are mild. Very slight loss of rainbow sheen. I think the listener will draw distinct pleasure from this copy., No deep scratches, no skips, warps, pits, stains, shiver scrapes, streaking, or residue on the disc or dead wax. Album has been safely stored upright in climate-controlled conditions.
