Bird & Diz Long playing 10" microgroove record in original sleeve. #MGC-512.


Produced under the supervision of Norman Granz in 1952 .


This 1952 collection is one of bebop's key artifacts and also represents two milestones: the only and only time that pianist Thelonious Monk recorded with the dynamic duo, and the last time Gillespie and Parker appeared together in the studio. It also features the red-hot rhythm section of bassist Curly Stewart and drummer Buddy Rich.


Sleeve is in nice condition. Totally secured with no separation, rips, or tears. Some minor imperfections, stains, etc.

Record is in good condition. Some scratches. Seems to have some skipping on side 1 - Track 3. May be able to come out with a good cleaning.
