ANOTHER GREAT JAZZ RECORD ON 78rpm BY THE CHARLIE PARKER QUARTET, AND THIS COLLECTABLE WAS RECORDED IN 1947 ON THE U.S. DIAL LABEL # 1014 SONGS ARE: BIRD'S NEST & DARK SHADOWS. THIS ONE SHOWS PLENTY OF GLOSS AND SHINE WITH SOME LITE SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES, BUT IT STILL PLAYS WITH GREAT SOUND FOR A VINTAGE 78 OF THIS AGE. IT GRADES AS A VG TO VG+ BUT PLAYS MUCH BETTER. These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This 78 is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B & Jazz 78's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
