Up for bids is an original Mono LP by Charlie Parker called "The Charlie Parker Story" on Savoy Records. MG-12079. 1956.
ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
Front of cover is laminated.Record's edges are raised.
Matrix (or Trail-Off) numbers read as a hand-etched "RVG" followed by a stamped "MG 12079A" followed by a stamped "X20" and finally a stamped "2" for Side A, and a hand-etched "RVG" followed by a stamped "MG 12079B" and finally a small faintly stamped "2" for Side B.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is a STRONG VG++ to Near Mint condition. One of the best I have ever seen of this one! Very minor wear on front and back. No splits! Beautiful looking cover all around!
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG++. Has some minor marks that don't greatly affect play. Sounds amazing on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Bird fan!
