Spirit of Sound Records has come into vinyl LP gems, 45s and 78s from all genres in prime condition and will be listing regularly for the foreseeable future. We presently offer some rare and seriously rare 10" LPs, most are originals, from the early 1950s. Condition of these items will vary. Check titles and condition carefully. CHARLIE PARKER WITH STRINGS; Mercury (Label reads MG C-109, Back Jacket reads MG C-509), 1950 or 1952, Black Label with gold lettering and logo, 10" pressing. Mono. Vinyl is VG-, retains original glossy sheen with marks throughout. Plays with surface noise. Deep Groove Labels are clean, no marks, light fading and very light wear around spindle hole. Jacket is VG, front David Stone Martin cover has some ring wear and some discoloration; back jacket with ring wear and some fading of Parker photograph, former owner name written upper right, does not obscure writing or graphics. 3" tape on spine bottom and top. Not the best copy, yet listed due to rarity.

Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception. We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS. We combine shipping for multiple purchases. To insure customer satisfaction, we will include delivery confirmation (with tracking number) on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase. We encourage our international buyers to include insurance and delivery confirmation (registered mail) when choosing a shipping option. Barring this choice, we will ship in good faith at buyers risk.
