CHAS "No Better Love" (Rare Promo)

Grade: Wax = EX    Cover = EX (Includes original insert with lyrics sheet)

Produced by the 1980's mysterious bay area based electro-Funk group PRIVATE EYE (the same group who brought us "Dance Symphony" on Fantasy Records) and Wayne Wallace.

This incredibly rare LP has some very superb Modern Boogie, Soul, & Funk on it with standout tracks being: "I'm Going To Give You All of Me" (featuring a young Dwayne Wiggins on guitar), "I Just Want To Be Loved", and the excellent mellow-funk groover "For Your Love". It's got a real nice soulful ballad in the track "Don't You Walk Away" on here as well. Claytoven Richardson is also heavily involved on this project.

All in all, a fantastic album that was over looked upon it's initial release, mainly only known locally on the West-Coast at the time.

*I just happened to have an extra copy that I'd rather see fall into the hands of mutual rare and good music appreciators like yourselves instead of just sitting here gazing at it and not being played. I only need one, ya know? Good luck and enjoy.
