THE CHECKERLADS-45-“Baby Send For Me” b/w “Shake Yourself Down”-RCA #47-8986-DJ Issue-American Pressing-KillerKool 1966 Canadian Garage-Punk. Most of you know this killer 2-sider from assorted comps over the years-the ‘Gaiety Records’ comp in particular…if not, real dynamite stuff-A side is guitar & Vox Continental organ dominated with a sneering lead vocal and an ultra cool and sloppy lead guitar break…B side is of the same caliber-structure sounds like a cross between ‘Hang On Sloopy’ and ‘Game Of Love’ with a really jagged Vox Continental lead break. Great record & band.

Condition: Record is VG+ or better-some very light surface/paper scuffs visible in certain light angles

Label clean both sides--with exception of date written in blue ink on A side (see photo)
