Description
- Cheech & Chong released their second album "Big Bambu" in June 1972 on producer Lou Adler's A&M imprint Ode Records. It was nominated for a Grammy and is by far their best selling recording. It's also very much remembered for its unique cover that resembled a pack of rolling papers.
- This is an extremely rare copy of (SP-77027) from the First Pressing nearly 50-years-ago. It is in exceptional condition and still includes the Giant Rolling Paper in the inner gatefold. It is easily VG+ with only some initials on one disc label. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The Side One dead wax is etched ODE SP 77027 RE-1 S1.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 49 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
