Cheikh Abou El Ela Mohamed (c. 1878-1927) was probably born in the area of Asyut, Egypt. In addition to this Opera Disc record, he also cut records in the 1920s for Baidaphon and Polyphon. As with all Opera Disc label issues of Arabic music, this is incredibly rare.

Condition: I am afraid I am not able to play 78 rpm records. Please see photos for condition. Recorded is complete (no cracks, missing pieces, etc.), with wear as to be expected for a record of this age. Please inspect the included photos carefully. **ITEM SOLD “AS-IS”**
