Description
For sale is a first pressing of Dark Lady, autographed in the 70’s by Cher with the very groovy inscription in ballpoint pen “Linda, I hope you can dig it, Cher”
The sleeve is VG- with no splits but plenty of small wear spots here and there and a very soft corner that you can fully see in pics. The standout thing here is the awesome VINTAGE 1970’s inscription and autograph by Cher and it looks VERY COOL framed, which is how I’ve kept it for years. (See last pic- FRAME NOT INCLUDED) The time has come to let it go.
I do not have a COA, but I have compared against many other examples of Cher’s writing and autograph and I have absolutely no doubt of its authenticity. First of all, if someone was faking an autograph, they typically don’t personalize them and they really don’t add an extra long inscription. This is letter for letter typical of Cher’s writing in the mid 70’s and due to the “I hope you can dig it!” message, it implies it was likely was signed right at the time of the album’s release of the album in 1974.
