The rebirth of Neneh Cherry as a post-dance jazz chanteuse has been a joy to behold. Her collaborative set with Scandinavian jazz troupe The Thing, the psychedelic jazz madness of The Cherry Thing, remains one of the most startling and adventurous albums of 2012. Here, that album gets remixed, with a slew of experimental electronica producers swinging by to lend a hand. Given the cast list, highlights are plentiful. Aside from the excellent, previously-released rubs from Four Tet and Lindstrom & Prins Thomas, look out for Kim Hiorthroy's beautifully sparse rework of "What Reason Could I Give" and Jim O'Rourke's cacophonous tweak of "Accordion".
