Description

The classic Opera "Medea" with the premier singer of her time Maria Meneghini Callas in the lead.  Recorded at the famed La Scala theatre in 1957 by Mercury Records in collaboration with G. Ricordi & C., Milan.  Principals are Callas/Picchi/Scotto/Modesti; with the Orchestra and Chorus of La Scala under the direction of Tullio Serafin.  A rare and priceless moment recorded at the most legendary venues.  This three record set will add to any collection.  The sleeves, booklet, and albums are inexcellent condition.  The box is in great condition except for some age wearing on the corners.
