Background on this eBay item -

As some audiophiles may remember, the Chesky company used to issue long playing vinyl LPs. Unfortunately this hasn't happened in a very long time and therefore all their LP releases are long out of print and very rare. As such, this may be the last time that you see a FACTORY SEALED copy of one of the Chesky audiophile LP issues. Grab it now, or risk never seeing it again.  

Up for sale:

• Issued in 1994 taken from the 1954 RCA tapes (I believe this to be the famous LSC 1817 RCA Shaded Dog LP)

• This music is reissued from the very rare and highly sought after RCA Living Stereo LP of the same name. Not only is the original incredibly expensive, but the Chesky reissue bests it in many ways! Listen for yourself and compare!!

CONDITION Details:

The LP jacket is in MINT condition. It is brand new, UNPLAYED and FACTORY SEALED with no tears, bends or splits.

• Mint = Only used for sealed items.
• Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
• Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
• Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
• Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).

• Takes about TWO (2) weeks to arrive in most USA destinations from Canada after it leaves here (air service), depends on the time of year, etc..

• 251 to 500 grams:  $ 9.75 (approx 1-LP - please note that librettos, inserts and outer boxes count as a minimum, 1 LP)

LP shipping costs to the USA are:

• $9.75 for the first LP

• $18.50 for 2 or 3LPs

• $25.00 for 4 or 5LPs

• $30.00 for 6+LPs

International / Overseas rates: Europe, Far East, etc.. - Regular Air Service based on weight, as follows -

LPs:

• 251 to 500 grams: $ 17.00 (approx 1-LP - please note that librettos, inserts and outer boxes count as a minimum, 1 LP)

LP shipping costs for International / Overseas orders are:

• $17.00 for the first LP

• $33.00 for 2 or 3LPs

• $48.00 for 4 or 5LPs

***Notes -

1. Ground service is also available and although slightly cheaper, is not recommended due to the length of time it takes for packages to arrive at a customers address - usually about two months for overseas customers.

2. High value items must be shipped with a tracking number and as such, this service is more expensive than regular air mail shipping...please email for a quote if you require this detail.
