Original 1957 United States Mono pressing of this hard to find album on the Deep Groove black and silver World Pacific label. The labels read MICROGROOVE at the bottom. This recording features a great line up of musicians, including Chet Baker on trumpet, Art Pepper on alto sax, Phil Urso on tenor sax, Carl Perkins on piano, Curtis Counce on bass, and Lawrence Marable on drums.
COVER: The one thing keeping this jacket from grading a strong VG+ is a nine inch bottom seam split.
VINYL: The record is exceptionally clean on both sides. Side 1 shows a handful of light surface scratches, with nothing that can be felt on the grooves. This side grades a strong VG+. Side 2 is even better and grades EX+.
