Description

Chet Baker with his Quartet, recorded in Hollywood in 1953, and it sounds clean and cool. Chet played with Charlie Parker when Bird came to the west coast in 1952.  This is the first recording under Chet's name; he was just 23 years old.  The vinyl is pleasingly glassy and plays nicely throughout.  The cover has its wear, half split onto edge; taped on bottom.  Otherwise, strong cardboard; nice art.
