The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment. All LPs cleaned with Spin Clean Washer System.
Columbia flat edge, deep groove, 6 Eye MONO LP CL 549 - released 195?
VG+ vinyl retains like new shine and gloss with no play or handling marks. May have been played once or twice prior. Play test on NAD C555 turntable reveled quality analogue sound with some light surface and errant ticks. Strong VG+ laminated, classic William Claxton cover has light shelf wear and two patches on rear where adhesive was removed (see photo).
