CHI L'HA VISTA MORIRE ? aka WHO SAW HER DIE ? - ITALIAN LIBRARY OST Lp music by ENNIO MORRICONE orchestra directed by NICOLA SAMALE child vocal ensemble CORO DI VOCI BIANCHI di PAOLO LUCCI. Original Italian 1st pressing on the GEMELLI label (GG ST 10.017) from circa early '70s. Desirable, giallo horror film score by the maestro. Yet another brilliant example of the bizarre funk and psychedelic lounge sound from Italy's Cinecitta. This is the 1st issue, much rarer than the more common CEM / Cometa release from 1979. Haunting mood music for a psychological thriller by cult euro sleaze director, Aldo Lado and basically an excuse to have an ultra taboo theme running underneath the main storyThis 1972 film was actually the inspiration for Nicolas Roeg's Don't Look Now but waay more seedy and disturbing. The score to Chi L'Ha Vista Morire is like a freaky Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni session but sung by children. The choir is angelic yet sinister and gels perfectly with the delirious (and sublime) baroque groove of Samale's orchestra. Beautiful, schizophrenic themes with bewitching strings and cello / acid-laced instrumentation (harpsichord / spinette / bass / fuzz distortions / bells / gothic hammond etc) funky B-boy drums / boom bap hip hop beats / rolls and fills. Great for DJs. Our soundclip opens with the breakbeat intro from SOLO GRIDA followed by CANTO DELLA CAMPANA STONATA / CHI LA VISTA MORIRE / LA BELA RISPISANA / the full, phased-out and experimental SOLO GRIDA theme / IL GIROTONDO DELLE NOTE / IL GIOCO DELLE VOCALI and LA MIA MAMA. Record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with some hairlines from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. Some soft pops (as you can hear on the soundclip). Item taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The laminated sleeve is closer to M- condition overall but does have a long crease line running under the upper left side corner of the front sleeve. Some ring wear marks. A couple of corner dings and a couple of dings to open side. Telephone ink stamp to bottom of back sleeve. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare OST Library Lp!!!
