CONDITION-MINT SEALED

The group's 1969 debut release was an ambitious mix of free-form rock and horn-influenced jazz, the first of three double LPs that would start their career. The album climbed to #17 on Billboard's pop albums chart. The group later shortened their name to Chicago due to threats of legal action by the actual Chicago Transit Authority.
