Description
Artist: CHICAGO
Title: "Transit Authority"
Label: Columbia GP8, CS 9836. STEREO "360 SOUND" pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is Red with white and black text, "2-Eye" Copy. Runout Grooves have the following numbers engraved of each side accordingly:
Side 1: Matrix / Runout: XSM 139684
Side 2: Matrix / Runout: XSM 139685
Side 3: Matrix / Runout: XSM 139839
Side 4: Matrix / Runout: XSM 139840
Date: 1969
Condition: Both lp's are in very nice VG+ condition. Full gloss and superb fidelity throughout. Some light paper sleeve scuffs here. Labels are super clean with no spindle marks, etc. The name "Linda K." is written in cursive on only one side of each disc. Overall both lps have been handled with care.
Gatefold Jacket: VG condition. Exterior of both front and back panels show ring wear, rubbing on edges, spine, and light bumps to the corners. Interior gatefold shows little to no wear.
*Not a cut-out or a recent reissue. This is the real deal - rare and hard to find Stereo 360 sound "2-eye" original first US 1969 pressing.
