Description

CHICK COREA-“THE MAD HATTER” METAL CORE ACETATE LP’S - KENDUN RECORDERS 11/29/77

Two single sided 12 inch metal core acetate LP’s, side A on one acetate LP and side B on the other acetate LP, of Chick Corea’s “The Mad Hatter” album from 1978 which includes Joe Farrell, Eddie Gomez and Steve Gadd. These acetate LP’s have never been offered for sale on eBay. This can be confirmed by performing a search via the Popsike website.

Acetate LP One/Side A:

A1 The Woods

A2 Tweedle Dee

A3 The Trial

A4 Humpty Dumpty

A5 Falling Alice

Acetate LP Two/Side B:

B1 Tweedle Dum

B2 Dear Alice

B3 The Mad Hatter Rhapsody

Both acetates have been cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine with distilled water. No chemicals or record cleaning liquids were used as this harms delicate acetate LP’s.

These have only been played one time by me. Acetate One is in Very Good++ condition and Acetate Two is in Near Mint condition. Most sellers would grade this item as being in in Near Mint/Mint condition but I grade all of my LP’s conservatively.

As a bonus I will include a CDR copy of the CDR that I made when I played and transferred these two LP’s to a CDR the one and only time that these LP’s were played.

Metal core acetate LP’s are extremely rare and there are usually less than 5 of these ever made. If and when another copy of this particular acetate LP ever turns up on eBay again it is highly unlikely that it will be in better condition than the one I am offering for sale at this time.

From a smoke free and child free home.

Item will be well packed and shipped via Priority Mail within the USA with full insurance. Item will be shipped via First-Class Mail International with full insurance for all other countries.

I have been an eBay member for 23 years having earned a 100% positive feedback rating.

Buy from a long-time, honest, reliable eBay seller.

Please email me with any and all questions you may have.
