CHICKEN SHACK/STEREO ORIGINAL RECORDING/1968/ BLUE HORIZON/ 40 Blue Fingers Freshly Packed & Ready to Serve.
Vinyl: This record played really nicely throughout with a lovely sound quality albeit with a little surface noise between tracks and at quieter moments, which is usual for a vinyl this age and wasn't distracting at all. There is a jump half way through track 1, The Letter, and a few clicks halfway through the same track. There is also a few clicks partway through track 2, First time I Met The Blues.
The record otherwise played really well and these 2 issues didn't have too much of an impact on the enjoyment of the album's great sound quality.
Both sides have glossy surfaces with some light scratches and one long visible scratch on side 2 which cannot be felt but can be seen;surprisingly this doesn't get picked up at all during play.
Vinyl record: Overall VG sound quality but with a jump and 2 lots of short clicks.
Outer sleeve is VG - colour and wording has rubbed off spine and there is a 1" split. Creases & general wear all over but still strong and intact and holds the record perfectly fine.
Inner sleeve is VG+
