Condizioni : copertina laminata su entrambi i lati che mostra un lieve accenno di ring wear; grande stato, NEAR MINT / vinile che presenta alcuni segnetti in parte causati dal prolungato contatto con la copertina. L'ascolto rivela un certo rumore fondo ed alcuni clicks; bello stato, VG++

Conditions : laminated cover on both sides shows some slight ring wear, NEAR MINT / disc shows some hairlines and sleeve marks. The latter due to a long contact with the inside of the cover. Listening is affected by a moderate background noise and some clicks, VG++

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : orchestra sotto la direzione di Roberto Menescal. Una piacevole ballata dai tipici connotati stilistici di Chico Buarque, ben cantata in Francese da Jeanne Moreau e nel secondo lato del disco interpretata in Brasiliano dallo stesso Chico Buarque in duetto con Raimundo Fagner accompagnati dalle loro chitarre acustiche. Musica popolare Brasiliana come al solito colta e raffinata. Gli altri due brani, rigorosamente strumentali, sono guidati da un ottimo pianista che evoca con le sue note magiche atmosfere romantiche e malinconiche.  Hanno prevalentemente una costruzione sinfonica e sono supportate da un'eccellente orchestra.

Notes : orchestra conducted by Roberto Menescal. A nice ballad from the typical stylistic characteristics of Chico Buarque, well sung by Jeanne Moreau in French whereas the Brazilian version of the second side is performed by Chico Buarque himself in duet with Raimundo Fagner accompanied by their acoustic guitars. As usual cultured and refined Brazilian popular music. The other two instrumental tunes are led by a well-gifted pianist evoking with his magic harmonies romantic and melancholy atmospheres. Both have mainly a symphonic character and are supported by an excellent orchestra.
