Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Impulse laminated gatefold Stereo vinyl LP AS-59 (Van Gelder stamped in dead wax both sides) - released 1964
Vinyl strong VG +. No spindle marks on labels. Test played once on NAD C555 revealed mainly beautiful quiet throughout. Side two has 4 - 5 light clicks opening side two. Visually there are two superficial hairline markings tracks one and two and two small marks track four side two - none effecting sound. Strong VG + laminated gatefold cover has very light shelf wear. Interior is clean with a modicum of edge discoloration consistent with age. Strong spine hinge. 1/2" nick upper right throat and small nick lower throat. Overall a beautiful package. Includes Charles Lloyd, Gabor Szabo and Albert Stinson.
