You are bidding on a great original Mono LP by The Chiffons called "Sweet Talkin' Guy". Laurie Records. LLP 2036. 1966.
Pressed on vinyl.
Labels are glossy. They are pressed into the vinyl and not glued.
"MFD. BY CAPITOL RECORDS, INC., U.S.A." printed on bottom of labels.
Back of cover, bottom-right, has a Capitol Records pressing plant number "4" indicating it as being an East Coast pressing from Jacksonville, IL.
Comes with what appears to be the original plain white inner sleeve.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
I would rate the cover's condition as VG++. Has minor wear on both sides and some marks on the back. Both corners at opening have small dings. No splits! Nice strong and sturdy cover!I would rate the record’s condition as VG+ to Near Mint. Has some marks that don't greatly affect play. Still so glossy! First song on Side 2 has a deep scratch which ticks about 1/3 of the song (that's the reason for the VG+ grading part). But overall, the LP still sounds great on my player!
