Description
This is a fine U.S. white label promo copy of the rare sole LP by Texas pop/rock/psych group the Children, released in 1968. First released on the local Cinema label, the record was quickly picked up by Atco. All of the tracks were written or co-written by lead singer Stephen Perron. Most are short, but the group extends on a couple of songs, notably on "Pictorial," which features lots of fuzz guitar. The jacket's flaws are mostly around the edges: a 2+” split in the top seam, corner and seam wear, and light ring, spine and edge wear -- EX(-). There is a large promo sticker on the front cover. The disc is clean with some light scuffing, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-). "Sample copy/Not for sale" is printed on both disc labels.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
