Description
This is a fine copy from a numbered, limited edition U.K. pressing of archival 1969-70 recordings by British group Chimera, released in 2002. Centered around cousins Lisa Bankoff and Francesca Garnett, the group played a heady mix of folk, psychedelia, and progressive rock. According to the extensive band history on the record's insert, they frequently played on bills with David Bowie, and palled around with the post-Syd Barrett Pink Floyd. Indeed, Floyd members Rick Wright and Nick Mason guest on a couple of tracks here, and Mason produced the 1970 tracks. The jacket is close to pristine (M-). It is hand numbered #507 (of 1,000) on the back cover. The disc is clean, and plays with some light hissing at the start of both sides, and otherwise with minimal surface noise -- EX(+). As noted, the record comes with an insert (M-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
