Odeon 24128

Artist: "Quanban Hezou" (meaning "the entire band playing")
Tracks: Nao Tou Chang / Jiang Jun Ling

Excellent pair of instrumental, ceremonial music from ca. late 1920s China. First side is nothing but gongs and percussion, and is wild - parade or celebration music. Loud and relentless! Second side is more of an instrumental piece with gongs, percussion, suona (reeds). Terrific disc.


Condition: V++ (light play wear - strong player)
