This auction is for a copy of Buddy Holly and The Crickets' 4-song 7" EP release "The 'Chirping' Crickets."
Side 1: "That'll Be The Day" and "Lookin' For Someone To Love" b/w
Side 2: "Oh, Boy!" and "Not Fade Away"

You are presently looking at one of the finest examples left out there this side of a store stock new copy! Not to toot my own horn or anything like that, since all I did was locate this particular copy and therefore all credit due goes to another person, but someone took *REALLY* good care of this EP down through the years! As far as covers and labels go, the scans tell that part of the story; only the slight uniform age-darkening and not-quite pointy-sharp corners on the jacket betray it's forty-eight plus years. And if it wasn't for a slight amount of play wear, how very tempting it would be to put NM or even M- on the vinyl. There's not a scratch or scuff to be found! I can honestly grade this package an EX++, which in my book is the made-up grade that falls between VG++ and NM-. That's probably a somewhat conservative grade as well! This is by far the nicest copy I've ever seen, on eBay or anywhere else, save for a new old store stock copy I once viewed. There's no reserve on this item, but the bidding does start at the minimum acceptable offer.
