Description
Legendary psych bands third album. They were from San Jose, California and preferred to play for an audience rather than waste time in a recording studio. Ed Cobb had formerly been with "The Four Preps" and is credited with writing "Dirty Water" (a huge hit for "the Standells"). He tried to organize the Chocolate Watchband who were very uncooperative. Three studio albums were put together, but Ed Cobb had much involvement adding session musicians and effects to create a difference in sound than how they really were live. The band broke apart a few times and as a result Jerry Miller (guitarist with Moby Grape) was part of the make up band. The original members came back together here for a final studio attempt, Jerry was part of the mix. It has some special psych moments, but the album bombed sales wise. The band stayed together for a few more months breaking up for good during 1970.
The album Cover has some pen writing upper left corner, but other than that its very clean. Edges have some very minor wear.
The Record plays M- throughout.
