Description
Legendary psych bands second album. They were from San Jose, California and preferred to play for an audience rather than waste time in a recording studio. Ed Cobb had formerly been with "The Four Preps" and is credited with writing "Dirty Water" (a huge hit for "the Standells"). He tried to organize the Chocolate Watchband who were very uncooperative. Three studio albums were put together, but Ed Cobb had much involvement adding session musicians and effects to create a difference in sound than how they really were live. The band broke apart a few times and being pissed off at Ed, they were on hiatus. On this album Ed Cobb used a couple studio outakes from the first Watchband album session and used studio musicians for some instrumentals. He had full control of the band output and while they were temporarily apart, Ed put out this album. It has some special psych moments with the highlight being the Watchbands rendition of "I'm Not Like Everybody Else". All Watchband albums are rare in original form and here 's another one.
The Cover has some minor wear and a bend crease lower left corner, otherwise its in pretty nice shape. The Record plays EX throughout.
