MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original Apple Records very first Hi-Fi Mono press released in Chile by Apple Records in 1972, made and distributed by Industrias Eléctricas y Musicales Odeon S.A. (Odeon Records Chile), catalog number APPLE-36, with hand etched matrix numbers APPLE-43-A 1 in Side A and APPLE-43-B 1 in Side B, with traditional Apple Records labels, with push-out center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER GREAT FIND FROM CHILE!!!

“We’re On Our Way” was originally released in May 1972 in UK and the same year we got this single released here in Chile. Song titles are written in English, translated to Spanish, the Side A, and in English only the Side B, with full credits for songwriters and producers in both songs. So, here you have the chance to get and own this single by Chris Hodge in this MEGARARE PRESS almost never seen and now auctioned here in eBay in great condition!!! WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!!

This single doesn’t come with a cover. Record is in EX or EX+ condition both sides, clean and glossy, with only minimal scuffs and some light hairlines, hard to see at first sight, which don’t affect play. Labels are in NM- or NM condition both sides, clear and clean, with minimal spindle hole wear and a very faint age browning in Side B, almost impossible to notice. The sound is in strong NM- or NM condition the Side A, loud, clear and clean, no background noise (background noise was normal in records from Chile), with only minimal soft crackles at the end of the song, and in EX- or EX condition the Side B, with constant soft crackles, more evident in the first and last seconds of the song, which don’t really cause any distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, a MEGARARE record, with a very nice look, almost immaculate labels and great sound quality after 45 years!!! An Apple Records single in this MEGARARE Chilean PRESS almost never seen and with a Spanish-written song title released the same year it was released in UK!!! And, yes Sirs, WHAT A FIND AGAIN!!! Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

SHIPPING (Packing and Postage)

We have an unique value worldwide:

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending on thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP10 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
