One of the RAREST of rare EP.This is very hard to find and that too in this condition. Funky/Psych Jazz numbers composed by Trumpet King CHRIS PERRY.
Chris Perry (25 November 1928 ? 25 January 2002), born Pereira was a Goan musician, composer, songwriter and film producer.
Chris Perry was an exceptionally gifted trumpeter, but he was also at ease with blowing instruments as saxophone, trumpet andflute as well as finger instruments like keyboard, piano and guitar. He learnt to read and write music all by himself. His performance of the music composition Cherry Pink and the Apple Blossom White breathlessly on trumpet earned him the sobriquet as the Man with the Golden Trumpet. His birth name has been reported as Christovam Pereira as well as Christopher Pereira.
Lorna was one of the dominant Goan Singers, particularly in the 1970s. She regards Chris Perry as her guru (teacher) and credits him for bringing to light her singing talent and making her a popular singer. Lorna's family encouraged and supported her singing talents. From the age of 15, for 9 years, she sang for Chris Perry’s Band in English, basically as a Jazz singer in Star Hotels and Night Clubs in Bombay, Delhi, Calcutta, Madras and Bangalore. She has sung many popular songs composed / arranged by Chris Perry which remain unforgettable hits.
Condition Used EP but plays superb without any external noise.The Sleeve is original and there are no seam splits.
