Description

Offered for sale is a very rare 7" vinyl record by Chris Rea. 'Joys Of Christmas / Driving Home For Christmas' was released in the UK in 1987. It is probably best known for including the original version of his enduring Christmas hit 'Driving Home For Christmas'; the version here is slightly different from the one that appears on the compilations. This single peaked at 67 in the UK chart, so not many copies were sold - so this is pretty hard to find nowadays. It comes complete with its original picture sleeve. 

The record has a solid centre, and is in good condition considering its age. It has a few light surface marks and scratches, but nothing major and both sides play fine with no skips or jumps.  

The vinyl is housed in its original picture sleeve. This has the remains of a price sticker on the front cover, and is a bit worn along the bottom edge (please see the pictures). It also has some signs of ringwear on both sides. But it is in pretty good condition for its age, and has done its job of protecting the record itself. 

All in all, this is a good example of this rare record from Chris Rea, complete with its picture sleeve, that still has plenty of life left in it for a collector or fan.
