Description
Chris Rea - German Music Industry Award
This is a genuine German Music Industry Platinum Award for 500,000 sales of the album ‘Auberge’. It was presented in 1991 to Chris Rea’s record company, East West Records. The award is in a silver metal frame measuring 17x17 inches (44x44cms) and is in very good condition. Mounted on a beautiful blue velvet background, the platinum record is mounted above a dedication plaque that includes the German music industry logo and the following text:

The Bundesverband der Phonographischen Wirtschaft e.V awards are the German equivalent of British BPI awards, and are only presented to artists, producers, and a few key people within the record company. This is an official music industry award and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.

Payment can be made by cheque/bankers draft in UK Pounds. Paypal is also accepted, however, if you have an unconfirmed address, then you will need to contact me before placing your bid. Cash can also be accepted, but only if the item is personally collected.
