Description
This is a fine copy from a limited edition (400 copies) reissue of a 1976 LP by Zambian rocker Chrissy Zebby Tembo with the Ngozi Family. As a former British colony, the large east African nation of Zambia absorbed (often not by choice) some of the Western culture its colonizers brought with them, and one of the expressions of this influence was a small but vibrant rock scene. Like their contemporaries, the Ngozi Family played fuzz-drenched hard rock with English lyrics. The jacket is close to pristine -- a strong M-. The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (not counting that from the source disc) (M-). It's worth noting that track 2 on side 1, "Trouble Maker," is distinctly lo-fi compared to the other tracks on the record, but this appears to have also been the case on the original pressing.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
