Original French mono BIEM promo pressing on BARCLAY label, from circa 1967. Obscure and desirable item by the cult French arranger and pianist. Our item is actually an advance promo issue of his debut EP (fully released in 1968 as Christian Gaubert - In Person on Barclay 72.707 M). Psychedelic instrumental French pop with infectious jerk rhythms galore... groovy orchestrations / mod organ / fuzz distortions / pumping basslines and congas. Every track is killer :) Features the thunderous pop mood of AUTOROUTE DU SUD with funky Mohawks - KPM - Alan Hawkshaw style hammond / jazzy drum breaks / screaming brass stabs and big strings. This is the track that was comped on Quel Organ ! by Disques Georges Profünd label. Great for DJs with booming production sound. We have also recorded WEEKEND A LONDRES (a homage to swinging '60s London with delirious fuzz and organ breaks) / the tropical afro latin cum Caribbean tinged BAHAMAS 70m 70m (with fuzz intro) and the equally stylish (big) beat ballad of OU EST-IL CE PAYS. Completely destroys the funkiest sound of Paul Mille and if you dig certain French Library or OST of the period and stuff from the influential Wizzz! series, then this 4 tracker will slay you too ;) Seldom comes up for sale. Rare EP!!!

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition overall regardless of any faint hairlines / light scuffs. Some light surface noises. Booming production sound. Some soft pops / ticks in places (as you can hear on our soundclip). Some ink bleeding / fading to label. Record will be housed in a soft card white sleeve with brand new poly lined inner. Rare EP!!!
