CHRISTINA CARTER CHARALAMBIDES Electrice Art Edition Hand-Painted LP #20 Rare! Mint!

Original Mint/Unplayed copy of this gorgeous limited art edition LP issued in a run of ONLY 20 hand-numbered copies (!!!), a classic solo album from Christina Carter of Charalambides, originally released on LP by Wholly Other and CD by Kranky. This very special edition comes from Christina herself and every copy has an original full-colour hand-painted art paper sleeve and hand-painted inner as well being signed and numbered by Christina . A beautiful edition of one of her most psychedelically-dislodged orbits of vocal/guitar dreamtones to date. Overdubbed vocals are placed in subtle trans-axial positions deep in sweet pools of reverb while she marches beautifully forlorn almost Haino-esque guitar shapes (circa Affection/early Fushitsusha) into cotton-wool blues and the kind of staggered balladry that would build huge vertical song-forms from nothing but an avalanche of muzzy overtones and a zag of slow-drone. Very rare! Highly recommended.
