CHRISTINE WALEVSKA, Cellist MEGA RARE UNIQUE 1966 MONO LP

 

The celebrated American violoncellist Christine Walevska accompanied by Robert Parris at the piano playing Couperin: Pieces in Concert (Prelude, Siciliene, La Tromba, Plaint, Air de Diable) / Haydn: Divertimento (Adagio, Menuet, Allegro) / Prokofiev: Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op. 119 – Rare Original 1966 Brasilian Pressing Mono LP on Academia Santa Cecilia ASC-1.010. This seems to be a unique Brasilian Pressing Christine Walevska recording and it was issued here few months after her extraordinary presentation at Teatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro on June 6, 1966, when she was only 21 years old. Please Note: This is a semi-professional recording, so please don't expect high quality sound recording  - Cover Condition: VG+ (some edge/corner wear, partially taped spine) / Record Condition: VG+ (some few light surface hairline scratches, some graying). It plays well with some not too disturbing background soft ticks, a bit more intense on side A.
